The Position

The Discovery Oncology department is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated scientist to join a team focused on the discovery and validation of novel oncology drug targets and the discovery of biomarkers predictive of the clinical efficacy of novel cancer therapeutics. Current efforts of this team are largely directed to developing a mechanistic understanding of tumor cell sensitivity and resistance to molecularly-targeted anti-cancer agents. Aspects of cancer cell biology of particular interest include epigenetic regulation and intra-tumor heterogeneity.

Who You Are

The successful applicant will have broad experience in the areas of molecular oncology, genomics, epigenetic regulation, and cancer cell biology, and a strong track record of research productivity and publication in academia and/or industry. Outstanding written and oral communication skills are essential. The Scientist level position requires a Ph.D. plus 5-8 years of relevant post-doctoral research experience. The Senior Scientist level position requires a Ph.D. plus 8-12 years of relevant post-doctoral research experience. The Principal Scientist level position requires a Ph.D. plus more than 12 years of relevant post-doctoral research experience.
