The Position

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will participate in the discovery and investigation of novel small molecule drug targets in the therapeutic area of immunology.
Using state of the art techniques and technologies, he/she will investigate various signaling molecules, such as kinases, transcription factors, enzymes, and epigenetic regulators, and assess their potential therapeutic utility. Furthermore, the candidate is expected to independently design, execute, analyze and present experiments to various forums within and beyond the department of discovery immunology, and thus must have excellent communication and interaction skills.

Who You Are

Requirements: The department of discovery immunology is looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive immunologist holding a Ph.D. with 2+ years of experience in immune cell signaling. Additional experience in epigenetic regulation is also desirable but not absolutely required. Candidates must have a documented record of professional achievement in the form of high quality publications in the above fields, and must be well versed in standard immunology techniques such as primary cell isolation, in vitro stimulation of hematopoietic / immune cells, FACS, MACS, and ELISA. Excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing, are highly desirable.
