For example, Genentech launched the "Genentech Goes to Town" community relations program in 1993 to support the communities in which we live and operate by encouraging employees to shop locally for goods and services.

At Genentech, employee involvement in our communities is encouraged through our employee donation-matching program and group volunteer activities in support of various health causes.

Genentech provides targeted support for a number of South San Francisco, Vacaville and Oceanside nonprofit organizations through its community grants and sponsorships program.

Genentech Holiday Giving makes holiday donations on behalf of our employees to pediatric wards in local community hospitals.
