For the past several years, Genentech has donated toys to Bay Area pediatric wards on behalf of our employees. Since the holiday donation began, Genentech has sent more than 35,000 toys to children's wards at all major hospitals in Alameda, Marin, Santa Clara, San Francisco, San Mateo, Solano, and Yolo counties on behalf of Genentech employees.

The Genentech holiday giving program has created a positive relationship with local hospitals and touched thousands of children and families in our communities. Several hospitals have indicated that the program is unlike any other holiday initiative and fills a significant unmet need among programs for hospitalized children during the holiday season and throughout the year.
