Employees in Action Genentech employees actively support the community through volunteer work. Each year, the company supports several targeted group volunteer activities in support of various health causes and provides material and financial support.

Employee Genenerosity Genentech employees also provide financial help to nonprofit organizations that are meeting important community needs ranging from education to social services. Employees' donations are matched by the company dollar for dollar up to $500 per employee. Since the program was launched in 1998, Genentech has matched over $1.5 million in contributions to nonprofit organizations personally supported by employees.

Oceanside Volunteer Day
Genentech Oceanside Plant Manager Larry Sanders and team members at the Oceanside Senior Center where employees repainted murals.
