Employees in Action Genentech employees actively support the community through volunteer work. Each year, the company supports several targeted group volunteer activities in support of various health causes and provides material and financial support.

Employee Genenerosity Each year, Genentech employees demonstrate their commitment to the community by making donations to a variety of important nonprofits. These organizations support a wide range of important causes from education to social services. Employees' donations are matched by the company dollar for dollar up to $500 per employee. Since the program was launched in 1998, Genentech has matched over $1.5 million in contributions to nonprofit organizations personally selected by employees.
