The Genentech Foundation is a U.S.-based, private charitable foundation established in 2002 by Genentech, a leading biotechnology company that discovers, manufactures and commercializes to treat people with serious or life-threatening medical conditions. The Genentech Foundation provides financial support to qualified non-profit U.S. charitable organizations.

The Genentech Foundation will support health science education initiatives from elementary school to higher education, support initiatives to help patients in the United States to manage their diseases and fund programs that strengthen communities and civic organizations where Genentech operates.
