Time to Recharge

Vacation
As a Genentech employee, you will be eligible for 18 days of paid vacation each year. You'll also receive a set of designated paid holidays each year, including a year-end shutdown.
Leaves of Absence
We also provide leaves of absence for a number of circumstances, including family care, maternity leave and medical conditions.
Sabbatical
If you've been with Genentech for six years as a full-time, regular employee, you're eligible to take six continuous weeks off with full pay and benefits. Your sabbatical is intended as an opportunity for personal or professional development, or simply a time to recharge every six years.
