Description Lebrikizumab (Anti-IL13) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that binds specifically to IL-13 and is currently in development for asthma. Anti-IL13 has been demonstrated to bind to human IL-13 with high affinity and neutralizes the functional activities of human IL-13. Preclinical studies suggest that IL-13 is a key mediator of asthma responses, including airway inflammation, obstruction and hyper-reactivity.

Development Status A Phase II clinical trial evaluating lebrikizumab for asthma is ongoing.
