Description Anti-oxLDL is a novel full length human IgG1 antibody that is designed to selectively target a specific atherogenic epitope on oxidized LDL (oxLDL). Preclinical studies suggest that there is a strong link between oxLDL and the inflammatory processes that leads to unstable plaque formation in vessel walls.
Development Status A Phase II clinical trial evaluating Anti-oxLDL for secondary prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with acute coronary syndrome is ongoing.
This molecule is being developed in collaboration with BioInvent.
