The Molecular Biology Department supports Genentech's drug discovery effort by providing access to standard and cutting-edge molecular and cellular biology technologies. We conduct focused and comprehensive research projects to identify novel functions of our proprietary molecules and to validate prospective targets or therapeutics with an emphasis in areas of immunology, oncology and vascular biology.
