Hillsboro Operations Ribbon Cutting

On April 6, 2010, Genentech recognized the opening of its operations in Hillsboro, Oregon, home to a state-of-the-art biologic fill/finish facility and warehousing and distribution center.

The facility, which is used for the filling and packaging of commercial biotechnology therapeutics from bulk drug substance, the last stage of a complex biologic manufacturing process, represents an investment of approximately $400 million and a workforce of approximately 250.
