South San Francisco, Calif. -- January 5, 1984 -- Travenol Laboratories and Genentech, Inc. recently signed a definitive agreement to form a previously announced joint venture, Travenol-Genentech Diagnostics. The venture, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, will develop, manufacture and market clinical diagnostics products.
