The Position

The successful candidate will join a well-established antibody engineering department in the lab of an investigator with a track record of creating novel antibody technologies and antibody therapeutics. This individual will participate in engineering the next generation of antibody therapeutics through rational design and molecular evolution approaches. He/she will enhance the existing properties of antibodies and endow antibodies with brand new capabilities.

Who You Are

Minimum requirement for this position is a Masters Degree in biochemistry, molecular biology or related discipline with 10+ years of research experience. A PhD degree is preferred. Candidates are expected to have demonstrated success in protein or antibody engineering in a highly collaborative environment. Expertise in molecular biology and protein chemistry is needed and knowledge of structural biology is a plus. The successful candidate is anticipated to have experience in the use of molecular evolution technologies such as yeast or phage display. Outstanding oral and written communication skills are required as are superior problem-solving skills.

Candidates are expected to be highly organized, strongly motivated and self-initiated.
