The Position

The Pharmaceutical Development Group is seeking highly motivated applicants for a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate position to support protein formulation development. The incumbent in this position will participate in the design and optimization of protein formulations, serve on multi-functional product development teams, and interact with cross-functional stakeholders. The individual will also support technology development and research initiatives within the department.


We are seeking applicants for the position with the following skills and experience. The level of the position will depend on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or other related discipline.
  • 3+ years of post-Bachelor's experience relevant to the position; 6+ years required for the senior level. Advanced degree may be considered toward years of experience requirement.
  • Background in protein chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry or chemical engineering.
  • Experience with formulating proteins and characterizing protein therapeutics by HPLC, CE, FTIR, etc. is preferred.
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong organization and documentation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative and communications skills, both oral and written.
