The Position

The Discovery Oncology Department is seeking a versatile, collaborative and enthusiastic Senior Scientific Researcher to join a team working on target discovery, validation and drug discovery. The focus of the lab is to use molecular, proteomics, biochemical and cellular approaches to study signaling pathways in cancer.

Who You Are

The qualified individual will possess a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular or Cell Biology or related field with a solid publication record. Candidates must have experience with mammalian cell biology and a wide range of biochemical assays. The successful candidate will have experience in cellular experiments (tissue culture, IP western, signaling experiments, siRNA/CRISPR) using mammalian tumor cell lines. Experience with mouse models is a plus. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate scientific rigor and a willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists. Additional expectations include publication of research in high-quality scientific journals. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, possess strong problem solving and organizational skills and have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
