Genentech is seeking an outstanding scientist to lead a research group to study adaptive and or innate immunity in human cancer with the ultimate goal of translating basic biology into transformative therapies. Genentech Research provides an exceptional research environment comprised of internationally recognized leaders in immunology and oncology as well as state of the art core facilities to support all research activities. You will interact closely with scientists across Genentech including those in immunology, cancer immunology, molecular oncology, biomarkers, and translational oncology. You will have the opportunity to direct drug discovery programs and to collaborate with clinical scientists through human clinical trial validation. The successful candidate will also set strategic objectives for their research group based on the overall goals of research oncology.
