The Position

Position

Lead and manage development and tactical execution of scientific communication strategic plans for gRED Early Clinical Development. Lead medical writing projects such as abstracts, posters, oral presentations, manuscripts, and lay person summaries, partnering with key cross-functional stakeholders.   

Duties

  • Contribute to the develop and maintenance of annual strategic publication plans inclusive of gRED ECD molecules in collaboration with cross-functional teams and aligned with business needs and organizational objectives
  • Lead and manage the execution of publication plans across the product portfolio
  • Implement and oversee review and approval processes
  • Serve as publications liaison with external authors
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional publication team meetings and activities; interact with key internal and external stakeholders, authors, and investigators in the preparation of publications; attend molecule core team meetings and lead programmatic updates
  • Conduct, manage and facilitate the publication review and submission process, which includes distribution for review to internal and external stakeholders, collation and adjudication of comments, collection of conflicts of interest information and final approval

Skills

  • Doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., MD, PharmD) in the life sciences or other relevant scientific or clinical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical writing/editing, publication management in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with experience in oncology and immunology
  • Graphic design and layout abilities, with willingness to learn Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Must demonstrate a high-quality writing style in the English language and have the ability to independently analyze and synthesize data from a broad range of disciplines
  • Proficient in scientific and clinical, peer reviewed writing, editing, reviewing and submission of abstracts, posters, oral presentations, manuscripts and reviews with different audiences
  • Masters and maintains up to date knowledge of industry publication guidelines (ICMJE, GPP3)
  • Exceptional organizational and project planning skills with particular attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate and work in a cross-functional environment with a wide range of people to achieve results
  • Dynamic, self-starter with strong influential skills and adaptable to change
