We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the Department of Cancer Immunology at Genentech. The successful candidate will lead projects to dissect tissue and tumor immune micro-environment, with a special focus on studying the crosstalk between immune cells and tissue parenchymal cells or tumor cells.
The applicant must have a recent PhD and/or MD degree in the field of immunology, molecular biology, or cancer biology. The candidate is expected to have solid training in immunology and rich technical expertise in cellular and molecular immunology, including flow cytometry, mouse transgenics and imaging techniques. Knowledge and experience of systems biology, single cell analysis and relevant computational skills will be strongly preferred. The qualified candidates must have a record of successful scientific accomplishments as evidenced by one or more first-author papers published or accepted in a well-recognized and peer-reviewed journals.
