Drive the overall vision, strategy and execution for the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program.
Establish and develop Center of Excellence (CoE) for BCM.
Manage team of BCM direct reports both internal and external.
Drive BCM strategic and operational roadmaps, program goals and objectives.
Develop and manage BCM Program Risk Register, Quality Register, RACI, Stakeholder Analysis and Spend.
Drive and manage communications with internal and external BCM stakeholders.
Develop and maintain BCM documentation, including tools and templates.
Collaborate with business functions to perform activities such as Initial Business Assessment (IBA), Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Continuity Requirement Analysis (CRA), and Risk Assessment (RA).
Collaborate with business functions to ensure that recovery strategies and BCM Plans and Manuals are developed and exercised.
Facilitate BCM exercises and oversee creation of Management Action Plans (MAP).
Define and monitor metrics and control plans to show achievement of BCM KPI’s.
Ensure documented evidence of compliance to support BCM audits.
Ensure ongoing maintenance for all BCM Plans and Manuals across Genentech Functions, Departments, and Groups.
Work closely with BCM Program service providers and contingent workers.
Act as a thought leader and champion for the BCM Program.
Benchmark industry best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Oversee mass communications and satellite phone programs.
10+ years experience leading business continuity management programs and teams.
MS in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or MBA.
Demonstrated experience with internal and external stakeholder engagement at Fortune 500 companies including engagement with senior management.
Experience with BCM Programs, technologies and processes for continuous improvement (Agile and LEAN).
Managerial experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Ability to present and communicate clearly to various levels of management.
Exceptional interpersonal, project management and prioritization skills.
Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience perferred.
Strong presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
Advanced strategic, analytical, and operational skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, independent and responsive.
CBCP or MBCP certification preferred.
