The Position

Mission

As the Manager for ERP Analytics Americas you and your team provides ERP Analytics Consulting and Business partnering to Americas ( North America & Latam) as well as manage end-to-end solution delivery and operations in your area executed by partners. 

This position will provide leadership for the ERP Analytics teams located in North America & Latam and is part of the global ERP Analytics leadership team within GIS setting IT strategy and direction for Analytics in the ERP environments. 

Your  responsibility is to design, lead and evolve this Analytic organization according to changing business needs in order to create value for patients. You consistently demonstrate the four Roche Leadership Competencies and the seven People Leadership Commitments every day in every interaction.

In addition you act as senior business partner for Stakeholders in North/South America exemplifying proactive, trustful interactions and competent Analytics consultancy. Your broad and up-to-date Analytics knowledge will help the organization to set the right priorities. Your network within IT will allow you to identify additional opportunities to solve business challenges which others might not have seen yet. You constantly seek to push the limit further, driving classical and advanced analytical solutions as well as planning and process mining solutions to the next level in order to  "power the intelligent enterprise for patients".

What you’ll be working on

  • As a leader you build,  inspire, qualify and develop your teams through a well-balanced approach of supervising, coaching, and managing the performance of every team member.

  • You drive organisational and operational Best-Practices and Improvements.

  • You partner with key business stakeholders pro-actively and trustfully to co-create technology-enabled business strategies and help to set focus

  • You identify business opportunities in Analytics, continually seek to reuse and promote solutions that address common business opportunities to fulfill business needs

  • Ensure understanding and buy-in of your stakeholders on relevant IT topics and larger IT initiatives

  • Collaboration, cooperation and influence within an agile organization will be key to success

  • You are able to explain complex technological topics into simple business language.

  • You work with business, the broader ERP Analytics team and informatics partners to architect, design, prototype and deliver & operate continually improved products

  • You support Business Reviews and be accountable for the project and product Portfolio

  • You ensure timely execution of POCs and MVPs to verify the potential value of Analytic technologies and platforms applying agile methodologies

  • You establish and monitor service and support metrics demonstrating continuous improvement of end-to-end solution delivery and operations executed by partners in alignment with SLAs and global strategies and standards

  • You position GIS services in the ecosystem of complementary and competing external services

  • You actively manage vendor relationships in alignment with the global ERP organisation.

The ideal candidate

  • We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree, MBA or Master’s degree preferred 

  • 5 + years of experience in a similar role

  • Passionate to lead & coach people, proven experience in leading through change and developing engaged and high performing teams in a networked environment 

  • Technology visionary/leader with  10+ years expertise in SAP Analytics  & ERP solutions( SAP/BW, SAP Analytics Cloud) and 1+ years hands on experience on data science, Knowledge in Amazon Cloud Analytics , S4, SAP Business Objects, SAP Fiori or Tableau is a plus.

  • Experience and ideally certification for agile and project management methodologies

  • Experience in collaborating  with off-shore, near-shore and cloud providers

  • Knowledge in the pharmaceutical/Biotech industry is seen as a plus

  • Is able to translate between Technology and Business aspects and in general capable of building bridges between people and organizations

  • Innovative thinker that shows managerial courage to challenge the status quo to identify, generate and implement new ideas.

  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics, and alignment with Roche values.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior level management and key stakeholders.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passion to work within a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Very strong verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Availability to travel occasionally (both domestic & internationally)
