IT Solutions Owner - Meeting Experience

The Solution/Service Owner will be part of the Enterprise Collaboration & Document Management Solutions team, responsible for building and executing the strategy for the Real Time Collaboration and Meeting Experience. You will be expected to set the direction for the cross functional team of Solution and Component Owners, build the roadmap and value proposition for Meeting Experience space. You will coordinate and align activities from several solutions and components from the Meeting Experience domain to provide the best value for the end users.?You will oversee planning and synchronizing solutions, software and hardware from Meeting Experience Domain. You are responsible to drive the vision and strategy in alignment with Meeting Experience Solution and Component Owners. You will be expected to create an inclusive environment, drive innovation and create value with optimized resources. You will be driving global strategies and be the main escalation point for the Meeting Experience Domain.?It is your role to help the team drive the adoption of our solutions and create best services to support our end users and stakeholders. You are expected to coach and support a high performing team in a very dynamic and diverse environment. ?You are passionate about people, technology and understand customer centered problem solving approaches. In addition, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the Meeting Experience, managing the related budget and assigned resources with respect to priorities and tasks.?You will work in close alignment with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering and Security.?


  • Sets the strategy for the Meeting Experience Service / Solution
  • Drive the strategic direction of the oversight solutions to support emerging and changing business needs
  • Cascades Solutions strategy and provides oversight of delivered services
  • Builds and maintain relationships with strategic stakeholders and customers
  • Ensures business needs are analyzed, action plans developed and requirements fulfilled
  • Maintains Roadmap for Solution Lifecycle Management aligned with Business and IT strategies
  • Ensures high­ quality performance and support of an IT solution
  • Provides strategic direction and oversight to Solution Owners
  • Handles escalations requiring a strategic decision and/or operational issues which cannot be resolved by the Solution Owners.
  • Provides oversight and escalation for adherence to IT standards (including security, privacy, quality and process) and compliance with requirements of regulatory bodies
  • Understands solution landscape and components, and fit with Technology Architecture Framework (TAF) and portfolio roadmap
  • Understands strategic lifecycle management and partnership with Architects on development of the technology roadmap
  • Works with Solution Owners to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) are established as needed across the overall solutions portfolio.
  • Monitors customers’ experience and satisfaction within oversight solution areas
  • Builds and maintains partnerships with our shared services center
  • Oversee and manage the budget for Real Time Collaboration Solution and projects, consults on the Meeting Experience budget priorities and execution

This position is not eligible for relocation.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology or business information systems or related field is preferred.
  • Five + years of experience in product management, Architecture, information systems, including subject matter training
  • Experience in driving global strategy
  • Experience with Meeting Experience technologies; ie. Google Hangout, WebEx, video conferencing, digital whiteboards, real time communications
  • Ability to balance conflicting requirements and set priorities
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional and virtual teams towards mutual success,
  • Passion for technology with the ability to comprehend complex technical and business issues and assess, evaluate and articulate options and solution
  • Flexibility to work during hours that allow for meetings with colleagues in other time zone 2-3 times per week.
  • Experience in working with near or offshore service providers for development and operational activities is an asset
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to follow up with external teams to drive action items to completion
  • Prior experience working with security, legal, data privacy governance of cloud based tools within an enterprise is desirable.
  • Product or Project Management, including weighing and balancing multiple competing requests, is highly preferred
  • Fluent English speaking and writing
  • Some travel is also required
