ICFR aims to address risks related to financial reporting. As part of the local ICFR team you will serve as the link between LAI (Group Financial Compliance department), the SoD (Segregation of Duty) Competence Centre and local business owners.
Monitor and maintain proper control information in BWise
Serve as the point of contact for local business owners, providing support and training
Support local business owners in developing appropriate control activities
Support the coordination and planning of LAI ICFR testing procedures
Coordinate and plan local ICFR testing procedures
Record and resolve control issues Interface with local external auditor
Perform regular quality checks over controls performed by the local business owners
Ensure compliance for Segregation of Duties, including the running and analyzing of GRC reports and ensuring that mitigating controls and risk exclusion in SAP GRC are appropriate and up to date
Provide regular updates to management on the quality of our control environment
Provide compliance expertise and consultative support as needed on business initiatives involving systems, processes, procedures, regulations and tools that may have financial reporting impact
This position is not eligible for relocation.
Who You Are
B.A. or B.S. degree and at least five years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
Broad understanding of Accounting and Financial concepts
Working knowledge on compliance management, process development and/or auditing skills
Practical compliance experience in terms of prevention (training) and detection (monitoring)
Demonstrated strength in analytical and strategic assessment of financial compliance risks and the ability to articulate potential business impact.
Ability to influence people at different levels and negotiate cross functionally
Ability to build and sustain meaningful relationships with business stakeholders and partners.
Effective communication and influencing capabilities, as well as strong organizational and planning skills
