Based in South San Francisco, and reporting to the VP, Global Head of Product Development HR, you will provide seamless and proactive global HR support to create an environment where people and molecules thrive. Through your strong leadership coaching, ability to design and execute people and culture strategy and commitment to simple and engaging people practices, you will drive and deliver business value. In this role you will be a member of the PD Functional Leadership teams (client groups to be defined) and a member of the global Pharma Product Development HR Leadership team.
Your impact will include:
HR Business Partnering:
Serve as a member of your PDLT client’s leadership teams to act as their sparring partner in executing the business strategy through the people agenda and continuous organization effectiveness assessment.
Lead the implementation and delivery of strategic people and change related projects that create value for the business.
Collaborate and coordinate with PD HR site head peers and HR colleagues locally, regionally, and globally to ensure successful implementation of business and HR strategies, initiatives, and practices.
Provide strategic oversight in all key HR processes: recruitment, performance management, compensation, career development, leadership development, and succession planning and change management.
Lead coordination and implementation activities for designated global HR programs and respective planning and project management processes
In supporting the delivery of these programs you will work closely with colleagues around the world in HR and the business as well as key HR stakeholders in other organizations
Who You Are
Broad Global HR technical knowledge and expertise; proven execution of a full range of Global HR solutions – workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, compensation, organizational development, talent management, succession planning, and change management
15+ years broad and progressive HR management or consulting experience in or with organizations recognized for best practices in HR.
Previous HR experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical experience a plus
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, advanced degree preferred.
Expertise in developing global business-aligned and innovative people strategies in matrixed environment
Substantial successful experience sparring and coaching with senior-level executives
Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high performing team without direct reporting lines.
Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively address all organizational levels.
Strong partnering, global project management, change management, consultation, collaboration, and influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to work on a senior leadership team that develops the vision, strategy and annual goals for an organization and sets the standard for collaboration and teamwork.
Ability to travel internationally approximately 25% of time.
