The right candidate will have experience in combination product or medical device development, with focus on humanfactors engineering (HFE). They will have demonstrated the ability to supportHFE activities including ethnographic research, requirements definitionresearch, requirements writing, use-related risk analyses, formative usabilityassessments and/or final summativedesign validation studies. Experience evaluating instructions-for-use andtraining procedures is also a plus. The candidate should be capable of writing usabilitystudy protocols, performing statistical data analysis and writing study summaryreports. They should also be familiar with US/EU guidances and standardsrelated to human factors/usability, design controls and risk management.
