Position Overview The Global Faster Filing Program Management Office is being created in the Global Product Development Regulatory (PDR) organization on behalf of the Roche enterprise. The goal of the Global Faster Filing Office is to enable us to be best in class and get our new medicines to patients in considerably less time than today. This is incredibly important given Roche focuses our research and development (R&D) practices on discovering and developing new medicines for unmet medical needs. When successful pivotal clinical trials demonstrate a positive risk benefit we need to be able to effectively, efficiently, and in the shortest amount of time, deliver these new treatment options to patients. To sustainably service our filing pipeline the Faster Filing program is focused on delivering improvements to our filing capabilities enabling increased speed in concert with fit-for-purpose quality and personal sustainability.
In this newly created role, the Senior Change Management Program Director for Faster Filing will report to the Global Head of Faster Filing Program Management Office. The focus of this role will be on people-impacting aspects of change – including changes to business processes, systems, and technology. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing a robust, integrated, program level change management and communication framework, strategy and plan to maximize employee understanding, adoption and engagement. The framework ensures there is cohesion across all Faster Filing work steams and initiatives. In doing so the Senior Communication and Change Management Program Director plays a pivotal role in facilitating the successful delivery of the Faster Filing goals and spearheads effective organizational change across Pharma Development and with stakeholders across the broader Roche enterprise, as appropriate for the delivery of the program.
This position is expected to be needed for the anticipated 4-year duration of the Faster Filing program.
A key member of newly formed Faster Filing program management office in Product Development
A core team member of the Faster Filing team and thought leader for change management and communication who creates communication and change management strategies for the PD-wide Faster Filing program
Develops a robust, integrated, program-level communication and change management framework ensuring there is cohesion across all Faster Filing workstreams and initiatives
Acts as the change leader of specific Faster Filing initiatives; develop, deliver and evaluate activities to drive adoption of new business solutions
Identifies the most effective communication media.
Develops and maintains consistent, relevant content for use in program level communications including but not limited to executive-level communications
Identifies and manages external communication and/or change management contractors / consultants
Manages associated budget and contracts as required
Works collaboratively and drives alignment with key stakeholders
Ensure post implementation assessment of end-user adoption and utilization of change

Minimum Qualifications and Experience (e.g. education, professional background and experience, working knowledge)
Bachelors Degree is required (life sciences or business discipline, preferred). Graduate or higher-level Degree (e.g., MBA, etc.) is preferred.
Broad pharmaceutical or related industry knowledge and understanding/experience with drug development and commercialization processes.
10 or more years’ professional, multidisciplinary experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other related industry, including experience in a regulated environment.
In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of organizational change management principles and methodologies.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to clearly articulate message to a variety of audiences and exhibits professional maturity, confidence and competence
Willing and able to work during global hours with Europe (ie between 7-10am PST) and willing and able to travel internationally (estimated 2-3 trips per year)
