The Position

The Resource Project Analyst will provide support across gRED Early Clinical Development. The Resource Project Analyst will be accountable for refining and implementing effective resource capacity management processes to ensure data integrity for effective decision making. The successful candidate should be a highly motivated, proactive, flexible individual, with a high attention to detail.


Major Responsibilities

  • Execute the monthly functional resource planning process in order to align on Hiring and Budget strategy through data entry, data analysis, and reporting
  • Manage internal resourcing forums to ensure functional demands are aligned with individual allocations and represented in resource planning systems
  • Drive individual resource allocation data collection process and compliance
  • Conduct ad-hoc resource analyses for the organization as needed
  • Execute annual resource algorithm refinement and creation process by engaging with business leaders to understand how business evolution impacts resource estimates
  • Liaise with IT and consultants to ensure any updates to the resource planning tool are developed, tested, and implemented with a high degree of quality
  • Contribute to on-going dashboard development and continuous improvement to align with needs of the organization and target users
  • Participate on resource planning initiatives representing functional needs
  • Provide technical support to functional users as needed for all resourcing tools
  • Contribute to the design and execution of resource planning training courses 
  • Power-user for Planisware, Business Object reporting, SmartSheet, Tableau and Qlikview
  • Lead efforts in on-going data quality improvement


Who You Are

Experience / Competencies Required:


Experience:

  • BS/BA required
  • 5 - 7 Years experience with Bachelors, preferably in Resource Management, biotech or analytics
  • Experience with the use of resource management tools (e.g. Planisware 5) and dashboard platforms (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau) is desired
  • Experience in building analytics and dashboards within Tableau is desired
  • Knowledge of resource management and project management methodologies is a plus
  • Knowledge of drug development relevant to biotech/ pharmaceutical organizations is a plus
  • Candidate should be process-oriented with robust analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
  • Demonstrate capacity and risk analysis skills and the ability to interpret and utilize capacity data
  • Must be results driven with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Must be comfortable presenting data to various stakeholders including leadership members
  • Must be a self-starter, be able to work with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Must demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competencies: 

  1. Inspiring and Influencing - this role will require them to interact with Sr leaders and managers. They will be introducing data to this audience to influence them on decisions. They will also influence the organization on new resource management processes and methodologies
  2. Technical and Business Expertise - will utilize lots of new and legacy technology and complex enterprise systems. Will need to be able to master this for downstream business processes, improvement projects, and supporting our stakeholders
  3. Team Work and Collaboration - the role will have a wide range of stakeholders and partners to collaborate with. These partnerships are crucial in helping achieve results and joint objectives, particularly because the team works with sensitive information and data that drives important decision making.
  4. Managing Change - ECD Ops environment is very dynamic. How the organization and portfolio shifts directly impacts resourcing. Will need to be able to adapt to org changes, system updates, pivots in requests, process revisions, etc
