"It is a great privilege to work at a company that uses cutting–edge research and focuses on developing innovative and novel therapies for diseases with unmet medical need. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with the best and brightest scientists in their respective fields."
I joined Genentech in 2009 as an Associate Scientist in the department of Clinical Pharmacology. My responsibilities include developing rational and strategic clinical pharmacology plans and providing data analysis support to ensure appropriate dose/route/schedule decisions are made for molecules in late stage clinical development. Over the years, I have got the opportunity to work with very talented scientists and supported molecules, both large and small, in multiple therapeutic areas at various stages of clinical development.

Drug development is probably one of the most challenging fields where the risk of failure is very high. I believe in application of innovative and state-of-the-art quantitative techniques, smart risk taking, and collaborative culture enables selection of right dose, regimen, and the patient population for reducing the risk of failure in clinical development. My work at Genentech focuses on developing rational and strategic clinical pharmacology plans and data analysis using quantitative techniques for supporting efficient clinical development of our molecules.
