"What I enjoy about my job everyday is the opportunity to apply advanced technology to progress life science research with the ultimate goals of developing disease-modifying therapeutics that could potentially improve the quality of life for patients."
I joined Genentech in 2008 after going through a wide range of academic trainings in organic chemistry, chemical biology and neurodegenerative disease research as well as acquiring drug discovery experience at Renovis and Amgen. The culture in Genentech really allows me to be creative and innovative in identifying or designing therapeutic strategies tailored to the specific consideration and requirements of various disease targets. And I am excited about the opportunity I have in working at Genentech to apply various new technologies to the design of optimal approaches in lead findings, high-throughput screening and pharmacology characterization and to contribute to the success of drug discovery.
