These "extras" are as varied and diverse as the people who work at Genentech, but they're all designed to deliver convenience. For instance, a highly valuable (and often used) feature of our benefits program is our on-site childcare center. Located on our South San Francisco campus, this center allows working parents the flexibility they need while caring for a child and the peace-of-mind they require to know their child is nearby and properly cared for.

Full-service cafeterias are available at all of our locations, providing a wide variety of reduced cost food options to fit your lifestyle. For employees in a rush, we also offer food at our many Grab & Go locations, as well as fresh espresso, coffee and tea in our campus break rooms.

Of course, there are always employee activities you can take part in at your convenience. Ho-Hos, a Genentech tradition, are a bi-monthly company get-together that allows you to unwind and become better connected with your colleagues. We also provide a number of recreational discounts to area museums and attractions, such as Disneyland and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, as well as sponsoring employee sports teams in league activities.
