The Diversity Council consists of leaders from each of the Diversity Network Associations and meets on a monthly basis with the Corporate Diversity group to discuss ways to drive and support diversity at Genentech. The council's activites include:
- Championing and supporting the Diversity In Action (DNA) 3-Point-Plan
- Engaging in professional development and networking activities
- Driving and supporting community outreach efforts
- Aligning and enhancing Genentech business needs, with a specific focus on cultural competency in healthcare
