The Diversity Council consists of leaders from each of the Diversity Network Associations and meets on a monthly basis with the Corporate Diversity group to discuss ways to drive and support diversity at Genentech. The council's activites include:

• Championing and supporting the Diversity In Action (DNA) 3-Point-Plan
• Engaging in professional development and networking activities
• Driving and supporting community outreach efforts
• Aligning and enhancing Genentech business needs, with a specific focus on cultural competency in healthcare
