Research Administration manages Genentech's Affiliate Research Programs, and helps our research scientists collaborate with their peers around the world. The Research Administration group at Genentech provides contracting services that build bridges between Genentech-employed research scientists and external academic and corporate collaborators.

Research Contracts and Reagents Program
Genentech is famous for its world class research. In addition to the research completed at Genentech, we also support investigators in academic institutions throughout the world by supplying key reagents.
NOTE:
- The information supplied here is considered NON-CONFIDENTIAL
- This program is not for human protocol or for clinical use.
- If you are requesting additional Reagents for a previously approved Research Study you may submit a Resupply Request.
Genentech coordinates the interface with outside institutions through the Research Contracts and Reagents Program
Get started:
Complete a
Material Request Form to request proteins,
antibodies, and cDNAs.
The form will take about 15-20 minutes to complete and submit online. Upon completion, you will receive a Proposal Request ID Number as confirmation. You can also fax or mail the form to the address listed below.
What happens next:
Requests are granted on the basis of scientific merit and availability of material. Once your request
has been scientifically reviewed, Genentech will inform you of the scientific decision on the proposed study. Upon approval, you will
receive a MTA (Material Transfer Agreement) for the requested material(s).
