I joined Genentech as part of the Prescient Design team in April 2024. I have earned a B.S. degree in physics and a Ph.D. degree in Quantitative Biomedicine. My journey into structural biology began as a student intern in David Baker’s lab, where I worked on co-evolutionary protein structure prediction, during my last year of undergraduate studies. During my PhD, I specialized in leveraging graph-based deep learning and clustering-based statistical learning tools based on physics-informed features for protein interfaces prediction and analysis, under the supervision of Sagar Khare and Sijian Wang. My internship experience at HireEZ in summer 2021 strengthened my expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and computer science. I wish to explore more possibilities of introducing AI and physics to protein modeling and biophysics.
