I joined Genentech as a part of the Prescient Design team in May 2022. Prior to joining Prescient, I was a doctoral candidate at Virginia Tech where I used polarizable molecular dynamic simulations to study the proteins associated with neurodegenerative diseases. During this time I used MD simulations to study the effects of mutations and posttranslational modifications on the secondary and tertiary structure of proteins.

At Prescient, my focus is on incorporating molecular dynamics simulations into protein design. My team and I work together to gain a greater understanding of how dynamics plays a role in computer-aided drug design.
