"It is inspiring to go to work each day knowing there is an opportunity to change patients lives with our science."
I completed my postdoctoral research at the Whitehead Institute - MIT investigating the molecular determinates of aneuploidy in cancer. In 2013 I joined Genentech as a scientist in the Discovery Oncology department. Our goal is to use a deep molecular understanding of cancer to identify targetable vulnerabilities & contribute to the drug discovery effort.
Genentech’s postdoctoral research program offers a wonderful opportunity to carry out cutting edge cross-disciplinary research in a highly collaborative environment. By leveraging the outstanding research & technology infrastructure at Genentech, postdocs can take on big scientific questions and have a significant impact on their chosen field.
I’m passionate about unraveling the complexities of cancer to identify new therapeutic strategies for the disease. My lab aims to identify targetable vulnerabilities, with a focus on understanding transcriptional and epigenetic dysregulation in cancer cells.
