I joined the Prescient Design team at Genentech in June 2022. Before Prescient, I was a postdoctoral associate at MIT in the Lincoln Lab Supercomputing Center, where I worked on making scientific machine learning more efficient and effective. I have a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in Physics from Boston University, and a BSc in Physics from the University of Missouri, Columbia.

I am broadly interested in discovering and designing materials and molecules with physics-based simulation, machine learning, and experimental feedback. At Prescient, my focus is on developing and applying machine learning methods to protein design.
