Accessing Targets Inside of the Cell
The molecules may be small, but the science is big.
December 6, 2013 - ASH 2013 will feature data from some exciting small-molecule approved and investigational medicines. Small molecules are powerful tools because many of them can get inside of cells -- and that’s where we find a wide variety of potential targets for treating diseases like blood cancer.
To reach those targets, we use our deep understanding of biology to develop small molecules that can act inside the cell. Watch below to see how we approach small molecule drug discovery at Genentech.
