I became part of Genentech's Clinical Pharmacology Modeling & Simulation group in 2016, following my Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Tokyo and a postdoctoral fellowship at the FDA. Throughout my time at Genentech, I've had the chance to refine my expertise in various modeling and simulation approaches, applying them to make a meaningful impact on a wide array of clinical development projects.

My primary focuses are developing and implementing clinical pharmacology modeling and simulation strategies to optimize clinical drug development, ensuring precise drug administration aligned with patient needs. For these purposes, we perform diverse modeling & simulation approaches such as population pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics modeling, physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling, and statistical analysis including survival modeling.
