Helix Cup Documentary: Part 3

The Helix Cup is a four part, hands on science competition among all of the eighth-graders in South San Francisco. The goal of the contest is to show kids what it’s like to use science as a way to solve real world problems.

For the third challenge, every team had to figure out how to build DIY centrifuges with a salad spinner and other materials provided. The teams who win this challenge come to Genentech to participate in the Helix Cup final!
